Little Sable Point Lighthouse
Whether you come during the day for sunning and swimming or at night for the best sunset location in the county - you won't be disappointed with this beach. The beautiful red brick lighthouse built in the late 1870's is a must see. Large parking area and restroom facilities are available. The walk out to the beach involves some dune crossing and climbing. Located 1/2 mile south of Golden Township Park. Requires a State Park Sticker.
Directions: Follow US-31 to the Shelby Road Exit. Follow Shelby Road west to B-15. Follow B-15 to Silver Lake Road. Turn Left onto Silver Lake Road (next to Mac Wood's Dune Rides). Follow the winding, paved road to the Little Sable Point Light Station.
The Little Sable Lighthouse Park has access to Lake Michigan with fee parking available.

| White River Light Station |
|
White River Light Station is located in Whitehall, Michigan about 25 miles north of Muskegon on the shore of Lake Michigan.
Built in 1875 by Captain William Robinson, the White River Light Station now serves as a physical reminder of the rich nautical history
of Michigan. The light house is now a museum and open to the public. Plan a visit to the museum and climb the spiral staircase to the top of the light house tower, browse the many 19th and early 20th century photographs and examine our collection nautical artifacts, look out across Lake Michigan as the light house Keeper.
In addition to the museum, the Whitehall area has much to offer. The Lake Michigan coastline offers many recreational opportunities. Several golf courses are within a short drive as is Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park. In addition, the City of Whitehall offers small town charm, culture and entertainment with many unique shops and restaraunts.

The playhouse is a City of Whitehall project, located two blocks off the the main street of a traditional downtown in Whitehall, Michigan. | World's Largest Weathervane - Montague |
Built by Whitehall Products employees in the factory in Montague. This functioning weathervane is 48 feet tall with an arrow 26 feet long. Very unique and interesting.

| Michigan Winter Sports Complex |
Located on the shores of Lake Michigan in picturesque Muskegon State Park is one of the finest winter sports centers in Western Michigan. The complex boasts one of three luge tracks in the United States and is operated and designed for introducing beginners to the sport of luge. The complex also has the original "Nordic Nights" lighted x-c ski trail system with 7.5 kilometers of lighted and groomed trails and and additional 8 kilometers of advanced day trails. There are three ice skating rinks catering to hockey, family skating, and a kiddie rink. Snowshoe trails traverse through the dunes on the shore of Lake Michigan. The heated sports lodge is complete with rentals, food service, fireplace warming area.

| Michigan's Adventure |
Michigan's Adventure is an amuement park in Muskegon County, Michigan, about halfway between Muskegon, Michigan and Whitehall, Michigan. It is the largest amusement park in the state and has been owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company since 2001.
The park features seven roller coasters, including the critically acclaimed Shivering Timbers (a high speed wooden out and back roller coaster), a common Corkscrew coaster, and a suspended looping coaster, Thunderhawk. The park also includes a number of "flat rides" such as the "Scrambler" and "Flying Trapeze".
